U Store It were delighted to offer their storage services to allow the space for over 100 volunteers to help to adapt Waterford mother of three Laura Sheridan’s family home in the upcoming finale of DIY: SOS The Big Build Series 2.
DIY SOS – the Big Build Ireland led by Baz Ashmawy and supported by an absolute army of fantastic volunteers, came out in force to transform the home of Nurse Laura Sheridan and her family.
Laura was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a form of cancer that affects the immune system while also contracting Covid. Furthermore, her beautiful five year old twin boys have autism and because of this, they have a range of complex sensory and emotional needs.
Our own Siobhan Roche of U Store It Waterford met with some of the volunteers and Baz on the reveal day and was absolutely overwhelmed with the volunteer turn out for the Sheridan family from Waterford City.
