Self-storage is a service that offers flexible, do-it-yourself storage in the form of containers or units to both business and domestic customers.

Before contacting us, determine what size of storage you need. We don’t expect you to know exactly how much space you need, but an approximate size is enough. Then, contact us and book your storage unit with a staff member. The next step is to pack your belongings, come to our storage facility, and you are ready to move in your things.

We have over 3500 Units covering 480,000 square feet within our branches, ranging in size from 20/25sq.ft. to 1,000sq.ft. Our units are approximately 10 ft. in height. Use our space estimator to help you identify the unit size to suit your needs.

We offer storage units in 6 different locations: Belfast, Cork, Waterford, Galway and both in the South and North Dublin, i.e., Ballymount, Charlestown, Northpark and Liffey Valley.

As Ireland’s leading self-storage operator, we provide 24/7 access to our convenient, modern, safe and affordable storage units. They come in all sizes and are available at six locations in Dublin, Belfast, Cork, Galway and Waterford.

You are not limited to our office hours; you get free use of trolleys and pallet trucks, packing materials and assistance.

The cost of a storage unit depends upon the size required. If you are unsure how much space you may need, we suggest you speak to a staff member to determine the optimum storage for your requirements. A price can then be quoted on the right size unit. U Store It has a wide range of units and lockers starting from as little as €9 per week plus VAT.

We have a simple price based on each unit’s storage capacity without hidden charges.

No- whilst we recommend booking in advance to ensure availability of your space, you can also turn up on the day to get signed up. Please have your photo ID, proof of address and a valid Debit or Credit card to hand to complete the process.

You can bring your goods in your own vehicle. We have ample free car parking and sizeable sheltered loading/unloading areas at each facility. Alternatively, we can recommend local van hire or removal companies to help with your transportation.

Our security procedures and technologies are second to none and include the following safeguards:

  • Each unit is locked using your own padlock for added security.
  • Access to the storage area is only possible with a unique code for each customer that is only valid for the duration of the self-storage booking period.
  • The building has a master alarm system to activate and inform the Gardai of any break-ins.
  • Each unit also contains an individual alarm, which can only be activated/deactivated with your unique code.
  • Our computerised access system informs who is in the building at all times.
  • Our on-site staff and management are immediately notified if someone attempts to enter the wrong unit.
  • Further visual protection is provided through 24-hour closed-circuit TV monitoring covering both the interior and exterior of the building.

You can store almost anything in our units, there are certain items we cannot accept. We would be happy to go through the normal do’s and don’ts of self storage with you! Ideal for moving home or office, storing documents, excess business stock and more.
